Finance Department

The Finance Department leads the management and use of the Assembly's financial resources to achieve value for money. It directs financial management in line with public sector accounting principles and safeguards the Assembly's assets.

What we do

The department's main responsibilities within the Assembly.

  • Lead the management and use of the Assembly's financial resources to achieve value for money.
  • Advise management on public financial management, internal audit and procurement laws, and other financial regulations approved by Government.
  • Ensure proper accounts are kept for all the Assembly's income and spending.
  • Direct and control financial management in line with public sector accounting principles.
  • Safeguard the Assembly's assets.
