Member of Parliament, Old Tafo Constituency
Vincent Ekow Assafuah is a Ghanaian politician and the Member of Parliament for the Old Tafo Constituency.
During his National Service, after an unsuccessful bid for the USAG presidency, he contested and won the position of National President of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA), serving for one year.
From 2015 to 2017 he was a special assistant to the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, and in 2017 he served as acting Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party.
In June 2020, after the incumbent Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei announced he would not seek re-election, Assafuah won the party's parliamentary primaries for Old Tafo with 299 votes, ahead of five other contenders.

74.55% of votes cast. Against Sahmudeen Mohammed Kamil (NDC), 14,405 votes (25.20%).
