Human Resource Management

The Human Resource Management Department coordinates the Assembly's human resource programmes and staff training. It makes sure employment, personnel and salary policies are turned into good management practice, so staff are well supported and able to serve the public effectively.

What we do

The department's main responsibilities within the Assembly.

  • Coordinate all human resource programmes within the Assembly.
  • Organise training to build the skills, knowledge and capabilities of staff.
  • Ensure human resources are administered effectively and efficiently.
  • Apply the Assembly's policies on employment, personnel, wages and salaries in day-to-day management.
  • Keep staff records up to date.
  • Encourage collaboration within and between departments to support staff performance and development.
  • Report on all human resource activities of the Assembly.
  • Look after the general welfare of staff.
  • Appraise the performance of direct reports.
